As part of the U-Studios team (Unilever’s in-house agency model), I worked on a large-scale, fast-paced stream of eCommerce product videos for major retailers like Walmart, Amazon, and Target. These short, 5–6 second ads appeared at the end of product carousels on digital storefronts—meant to quickly capture attention, highlight key benefits, and drive conversion.
I joined as one of three motion designers in a multi-disciplinary team that included copywriters, graphic designers, and senior creatives. Over six months, I animated close to 500 product videos across various Unilever brands—ranging from beauty and food to wellness and lifestyle. Brands included Dove, Vaseline, Talenti, Hellmann’s, Degree, Shea Moisture, Breyers, Knorr, Love Beauty & Planet, and many more.
I eventually contributed to the storyboarding phase, using my skills in Photoshop and InDesign to help create layouts not only for motion assets, but also for still ads used across retail platforms. Contributing at both ends of the pipeline—concept and execution—was a rewarding challenge that sharpened my eye for layout and campaign-level consistency.
This project taught me how to move fast, stay flexible, and collaborate in a large-scale creative system. Working across so many brands and touchpoints helped me deepen my instincts for modular storytelling, motion style adaptability, and clean, concise animation under tight deadlines.
